Exam Results 2010

It was cent per cent jubilation. With a pass percentage of 100, and many centums in Mathematics, many Bangalore schools rejoiced over
the results of CBSE Class 10 on Tuesday.

Mathematics was a cake-walk for most students with a majority of them scoring centums. A good number of students secured 95% and above. Abhishek Gupta of National Public School, Koramangala, and Anmol V Chavan of National Public School, Rajajinagar, secured 98.2%. While Abhishek scored a centum in math, Anmol got 100% in social science.

Aastha G made Delhi Public School, Bangalore North, proud with 97.83%. She scored centums in math and social studies. At National Public School, Indiranagar, Sasank C got 97.6% and 100% in math. Prajawala of KV Hebbal secured 97.2%, making her the school topper, with a math centum as a feather in the cap.

Pondicherry takes top slot with an overall pass percentage of 99.72, followed by Kerala with 99.22. The third slot is taken by Goa with 98.93 percentage, while Karnataka bagged fourth place with 98.75. Tamil Nadu lost its fourth place with a difference of 0.1 to Karnataka by securing 98.74%.

The results were announced in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa, Pondicherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu.

In this exam too, girls outscored boys. The overall pass percentage of girls is 95.77 while boys got 95.47. Interestingly, in Pondicherry, overall pass percentage of girls is 100 and boys is 99.46.
