Results of the Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in various Medical and Dental Colleges will be published at http://hpuniv.nic.in/
Himachal Pradesh PMT ie, Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test conducted to take admission to courses like MBBS/BDS. The admissions to various Private Un-aided Dental Colleges along with other Medical and Dental Colleges in himachal Pradesh is given on the basis of the merit obtained. The exam is conducted in various parts of Himachal Pradesh.
Eligibility criteria :
1) The candidate must have cleared his 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects.
2) The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCB and must have cleared English.
3) The candidate must complete his 17 years on 31st Dec of the year in which he/she is taking the exam.
4) The maximum age on the same date should not be more than 25 years.
5) The candidates currently in their 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply lest they should fulfill all other conditions.

Thousands of demonstrators protesting violence against Indian students filled streets in Australia's second largest city Sunday, as the foreign minister said the government was doing everything it could to solve the crime problem.
The demonstration by predominantly ethnic Indian men came after the Indian and Australian governments held top-level discussions about the safety of more than 90,000 Indians studying in Australian universities.
Five Indian students were stabbed and beaten in two unrelated incidents in Melbourne in the past week. One victim, Sravan Kumar, 25, remains in critical condition in a Melbourne hospital after being stabbed with a screwdriver at a party.
Another student was beaten and robbed on a train earlier this month.
Police argue that Indian students often fall victim to assault in Melbourne because they travel alone late at night to work long hours at part-time jobs and are known to carry valuable items such as laptop computers. They urged students to take precautions.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s government said attacks on Indians studying in Australia are “disturbing” and it is trying to tackle the problem after the government in New Delhi raised concerns.
“It is something we do seriously have to address,” Trade Minister Simon Crean told reporters in Canberra today. “It could be damaging. There’s no point sending your loved ones here to stay if they come under threat.”
The Federation of Indian Students of Australia held a rally in the city of Melbourne yesterday to protest violent attacks which it says are increasing. A student was left in a coma after he was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver last month.
There have been as many as 70 attacks on Indian students in 12 months, the Age newspaper reported at the weekend. More than 75,000 Indians are enrolled as full fee-paying students in Australia, according to Australian government figures. Eighteen percent of all foreign students in Australia are Indian, second only to Chinese.

It was cent per cent jubilation. With a pass percentage of 100, and many centums in Mathematics, many Bangalore schools rejoiced over
the results of CBSE Class 10 on Tuesday.
Mathematics was a cake-walk for most students with a majority of them scoring centums. A good number of students secured 95% and above. Abhishek Gupta of National Public School, Koramangala, and Anmol V Chavan of National Public School, Rajajinagar, secured 98.2%. While Abhishek scored a centum in math, Anmol got 100% in social science.
Aastha G made Delhi Public School, Bangalore North, proud with 97.83%. She scored centums in math and social studies. At National Public School, Indiranagar, Sasank C got 97.6% and 100% in math. Prajawala of KV Hebbal secured 97.2%, making her the school topper, with a math centum as a feather in the cap.
Pondicherry takes top slot with an overall pass percentage of 99.72, followed by Kerala with 99.22. The third slot is taken by Goa with 98.93 percentage, while Karnataka bagged fourth place with 98.75. Tamil Nadu lost its fourth place with a difference of 0.1 to Karnataka by securing 98.74%.
The results were announced in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa, Pondicherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu.
In this exam too, girls outscored boys. The overall pass percentage of girls is 95.77 while boys got 95.47. Interestingly, in Pondicherry, overall pass percentage of girls is 100 and boys is 99.46.
